Atty On, Engine On, Trailer Rocking a Bit, 5-19-13

This was a very short session and my camera’s battery gave out just before the end.

I loaded Atty with the engine running and had my husband release the parking brake and take the truck out of gear so that the trailer would move slightly. He did this a total of five times, then the engine was turned off. I walked to the back and opened the back doors. I came back and treated Atty, then walked back to take down the butt bar. While he did not rush off the trailer, he did not wait for the cue either. He loaded again and, this time, he waited for the cue to back off.

About Laurie Higgins

I play with clicker training - with my horses, dogs, and cats. I also attempt to grow vegetables with the hope of one day being able to feed my family from my garden. My daughter and I are learning ballroom dancing. Well, we were. But she left me for a paying horse job, so now my husband and I are learning ballroom dancing. I'm also now helping Peggy Hogan, of Clicker Training Horses (and The Best Whisper is a Click) to teach people how to train their own horses using "clicker training".
