Buzz and Ear Targeting, 1-17-13

Buzz and Ear Targeting: This is the last 2-3 minutes of today’s session. I tried to slow way down now, as I get closer and closer to the injury. I put my hand up and wait for him to target something to my hand. I want his ear or as close to it as I can get. When I get something I want, I click, lower my hand, and give him a treat. Then I wait until he lowers his head to invite me to try again. The session lasted a little less than 20 minutes.

About Laurie Higgins

I play with clicker training - with my horses, dogs, and cats. I also attempt to grow vegetables with the hope of one day being able to feed my family from my garden. My daughter and I are learning ballroom dancing. Well, we were. But she left me for a paying horse job, so now my husband and I are learning ballroom dancing. I'm also now helping Peggy Hogan, of Clicker Training Horses (and The Best Whisper is a Click) to teach people how to train their own horses using "clicker training".
